"Before" shows a "leafer"
mushroom (well covered with dead leaves) at the left of center . . . a
tough one to see . . . . "After" is the same morel, but slightly uncovered.
The moreller must depend on a well-trained eye that sees anything that
even resembles a morel . . . . We spend a lot of time uncovering sycamore
seed balls and dozens of other morel look-alikes, and that is why we carry
light, forked mushroom sticks. |
